Binding
Our rugs can be finished with black cotton binding for a more classic look, or a beige jute binding for a more natural look. The binding completes the rug with straight corners, giving you the perfect frame for your space.
A latex backing ensures non-slipping on all surfaces.
The latex is natural rubber, so it's normal for some slight peeling to occur and eventually over time the rubber will disintegrate .
Folded edges
Our rugs can be finished with folded edges and underlay backing, giving a clean and soft look to complete your rug.
The soft and thick underlay backing gives extra comfort and is an excellent sound and heat insulator.
Selvedge and tuck
For a more casual and informal look our rugs can be finished with selvedge and tuck, which includes a small fringe on two sides of the rug. The fringe is approximately 1 - 2 cm long.

Rug backing: Underlay vs latex
All of our rounded edge rugs come with a luxuriously soft underlay backing. This backing increases the thickness of the rug (approx. 2cm thickness).
All of our selvedge and tuck rugs come with a natural latex, non-slip backing (approx. 1cm finish).
