Wool: Sourced from a curated selection of the world’s finest wool-producing nations—New Zealand, South Africa, India, and China—blending natural softness, springiness, and rugged durability.
2. Woven with Conscience: Palm Fiber Pty Ltd (Kerala)
The raw fibers travel to our trusted partner, Palm Fiber Pty Ltd in Kerala, India, whom we have proudly worked hand-in-hand with for 35 years. Master adult artisans transform our wool and jute on hand-looms into premium weaves. This step is strictly GoodWeave certified, guaranteeing total supply chain transparency, fair wages, safe conditions, and absolutely zero child or forced labor.
3. Crafted in Adelaide by Local Staff
The raw reams of premium weave cross the ocean to our workshop in Adelaide, South Australia. We don't hold standard stock; we wait for your unique dimensions.
Our local staff carefully unroll, square, and hand-cut the reams of material to ensure a flawless, custom fit. From there, our Adelaide team makes your rug to order by hand, offering premium finishes like seamless folded edges, traditional hand-selvedge and tucked edges, natural jute or cotton bindings, and classic overlocking.
To complete the build, we can add an underlay crafted entirely from GoodWeave certified recycled textiles.
4. Premium Protection & Conscious Packaging
Before leaving our doors, your rug can be treated with Decorgard, an invisible, breathable fabric protector that repels liquids and stains. Finally, it is secured in a smart dual-layer wrap: an inner protective core of recycled plastic, topped with a compostable wrapping from Biobag.
